At Guthrie Grove, we believe that following Jesus is a lifelong journey. Our Senior Adults Ministry exists to encourage older adults to continue growing in their faith, building meaningful friendships, and using their wisdom and experience to strengthen the church family.
Whether you've been part of Guthrie Grove for many years or are looking for a church home, you'll find a welcoming community where you can grow, serve, and encourage others.
The years of experience, wisdom, and faith found within our senior adults are a tremendous blessing to our church. Through Bible study, fellowship, prayer, and service, we seek to encourage one another while investing in the next generation.
Our Senior Adults Ministry is a place to build lasting friendships, continue learning from God's Word, and remain actively involved in the life of the church.

Whether you're newly retired or have been enjoying this season of life for years, there's a place for you here.
Sunday School | 10:00 AM
Senior adults are encouraged to participate in one of our adult Sunday School classes for Bible study, discussion, and fellowship.
Tuesday Bible Study | 11:00 AM
Each Tuesday, senior adults gather for an in-depth Bible study, prayer, and encouragement. This midweek gathering provides another opportunity to grow in God's Word and enjoy fellowship together.
Wednesday Night Bible Study | 7:00 PM
Women are invited to participate in Wednesday night classes alongside the church family. These gatherings provide opportunities to study God's Word, grow in faith, and connect with others throughout the week. A women's bible study group meets at this time.
Beyond our weekly gatherings, senior adults enjoy regular opportunities to connect through fellowship and special events.
On the second Tuesday of each month at 1:00 PM, our senior adults gather for lunch and fellowship at Mama Penn's in Anderson. Each luncheon includes a devotional, good food, games, music, and plenty of time to enjoy one another's company.
