At Guthrie Grove, our Women’s Ministry exists to encourage women to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus, build meaningful friendships, and use their gifts to serve God and others.
Through Bible study, fellowship, special events, and opportunities to serve, we seek to create a community where women of all ages can find encouragement, grow in faith, and walk together through every season of life.
Faith grows best in community. Our Women’s Ministry provides opportunities for women to connect with one another, study God’s Word, share life together, and encourage each other as followers of Christ.
Whether through a Bible study, a shared meal, a retreat, or serving alongside one another, we believe God uses relationships to strengthen and equip women for faithful living.
Women at Guthrie Grove can expect:
Women play an important role in the life of Guthrie Grove, strengthening our church family through discipleship, hospitality, service, teaching, and ministry to others.
Sunday School | 10:00 AM
Guthrie Grove offers several Sunday School classes where adults can study God's Word, grow in faith, and build relationships with others. While we do not currently have a class specifically designed for women, women are encouraged to participate in any of our adult classes.
Wednesday Night Bible Study | 7:00 PM
Women are invited to participate in Wednesday night classes alongside the church family. These gatherings provide opportunities to study God's Word, grow in faith, and connect with others throughout the week. A women's bible study group meets at this time.
God has gifted every believer with unique abilities to serve His Kingdom. Women at Guthrie Grove are actively involved throughout the life of the church, teaching and serving in ministries such as children's ministry, youth ministry, hospitality, and many other areas of service.
Through serving together, women help strengthen our church family and share the love of Christ with others.
Beyond our regular gatherings, women have opportunities to grow through retreats, conferences, and special events.

Throughout the year, Sisters Act provides monthly opportunities for women to gather around a shared meal, enjoy fellowship, and strengthen relationships.
View Event →Hosted by the Carolina Conference, the Women's Retreat provides an opportunity for women to step away, reconnect with God, and be encouraged through worship, teaching, and fellowship at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly.
View Event →Each summer, women from across the Church of God General Conference gather in Oregon, Illinois, for a national conference focused on worship, teaching, encouragement, and fellowship.
