Helping Kids Know Jesus and Grow in Faith
At Guthrie Grove, we believe children aren't just the future of the church—they're an important part of the church today. Our Children's Ministry exists to help kids discover God's love, understand His Word, and begin a lifelong journey of following Jesus.
Every Sunday, our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children can learn about God in age-appropriate ways while building friendships and having fun.
Whether it's your child's first visit or they've been coming for years, we're excited to partner with your family as they grow in faith.
Parents are a child's first and most important spiritual influence. Rather than replacing that role, we want to come alongside you.
Our Children's Ministry is designed to reinforce what children are learning at home and encourage conversations about God throughout the week. Together, we can help the next generation develop a faith that is rooted in Scripture and lived out every day.
When you arrive, one of our volunteers will be happy to help you find the right place for your child and answer any questions you may have.
During class, your child can expect:
Our desire is for every child to leave knowing they are loved by God, valued by their church family, and excited to keep learning about Jesus.
Sunday School | 10:00 AM
Children of all ages are invited to age-appropriate Sunday School classes where they learn God's Word, build friendships, and grow in their faith.
Worship Service | 11:00 AM
We offer several ministry environments during the worship service:
Toddler and Junior Church children begin the service with their families and are dismissed before the sermon. Families are also always welcome to worship together in the sanctuary. There is a nursing room available in the back of the sanctuary for parents of young children.
Wednesday Night Bible Study | 7:00 PM
Wednesday evenings are all about growing together. We offer Bible classes and discipleship opportunities for every age—from children and students to adults—making it a great night for the whole family to be involved. Dinner is served at 6:30pm on Wednesdays throughout the school year.
