This Sunday, while Pastor Andy was away, Preston Macy reminded us that the heart of the gospel is the Kingdom of God. Jesus proclaimed the coming Kingdom and called people to respond by repenting—turning from sin and aligning their hearts with God's will. Entering God's Kingdom begins with a heart that is surrendered to the King.

From that transformed heart comes transformed living. Preston challenged us to examine three areas that reveal whether our hearts are being shaped by Christ: our behavior, our perspective, and our motivation. As we grow in Christ, these areas should increasingly reflect His character and His priorities.

Finally, we were encouraged to redeem the time by making the most of every opportunity God gives us. Rather than drifting through life, followers of Jesus are called to live intentionally, investing their time in what has eternal value and seeking first God's Kingdom in every aspect of life.
