Guthrie Grove Church is a community of believers committed to following Jesus Christ, growing in God’s Word, and living out our faith together. Located in Pelzer, we seek to be a place where people can encounter God, build meaningful relationships, and discover their place in His Kingdom.
Our story is ultimately a story of God’s faithfulness. Through seasons of growth, change, and ministry, He has continued to guide our church and use this congregation to serve families and individuals in our community.
For generations, Guthrie Grove has been a place where people gather to worship, learn from Scripture, and encourage one another in the Christian life. The church has long been rooted in a desire to honor God, proclaim the gospel, and cultivate a Christ-centered community.
As our church has continued to grow, our commitment has remained the same: to know Jesus more deeply and to help others do the same. Through worship services, Bible studies, classes, small groups, youth and children’s ministries, and opportunities for service, we seek to create an environment where people of all ages can grow in faith.
Our church family values authentic relationships, biblical teaching, and serving one another with humility and love. We believe that spiritual growth happens best in community, as we encourage one another to follow Christ faithfully in everyday life.
Today, Guthrie Grove Church continues to be a welcoming place for individuals and families seeking to grow in their relationship with God. We gather each week for Sunday School and worship, and we seek to live out our faith through prayer, discipleship, fellowship, and service.
Our desire is to be a church that reflects the love of Christ in our community and beyond. We want every person who walks through our doors to experience genuine hospitality, biblical truth, and the encouragement of a caring church family.
As we look to the future, we remain committed to the mission God has given us: to make disciples, strengthen families, and share the hope of Jesus Christ with our community.
