We believe the local church is God's design for helping believers grow in faith, encourage one another, and serve together in His Kingdom.

While anyone is welcome to worship with us and participate in the life of our church, membership is a joyful commitment to become an active part of the Guthrie Grove family. It's a public way of saying, "This is my church home, and I want to invest my life alongside these people."

If you're considering membership, we'd love to walk with you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

Why Become a Member?

Church membership isn't about adding your name to a list—it's about joining a family.

The Membership Process

Becoming a member is simple, and we'd be honored to walk alongside you every step of the way.

1. Meet with Pastor Andy

The first step is simply having a conversation.

Pastor Andy enjoys meeting personally with prospective members to hear your story, answer questions, and explain what it means to become part of the Guthrie Grove family.

2. Learn About Guthrie Grove

During your conversation— through our Membership 101 materials—you'll learn about:

Our beliefs
Our mission and values
Our church family
What membership means
Opportunities to connect, grow, and serve

This is also a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the life of our church.

3. Complete a Membership Application

When you're ready, you'll complete a simple membership application as part of the process.

4. Celebrate Together

Once your membership is received, we'll joyfully welcome you as part of the Guthrie Grove Church family.

Membership Expectations

Membership is a commitment to actively participate in the life of the church.

Those seeking membership should:

Have placed their faith in Jesus Christ.
Have been baptized as a believer (or be willing to discuss baptism with one of our pastors).
Complete the membership process.
Submit a membership application.

We also encourage our members to faithfully worship, grow in God's Word, serve with their gifts, and participate in the life of the church throughout the year.

Opportunities as a Member

As members of Guthrie Grove, you'll have the opportunity to:

Participate fully in the life and ministry of the church.
Help shape the direction of our church through congregational meetings.
Serve in a variety of ministry opportunities.
Receive member assistance for eligible church and regional events.
Request the use of church facilities in accordance with church policies.
Build lasting relationships within a church family committed to following Christ together.
